Tokyo

Our final leg of the journey. We stayed five nights in Tokyo, which also included day trips to see Mount Fuji and Kamakura. The day we arrived was the day of the Sumidagawa Fireworks Festival, of which we were only able to catch the last ten minutes of. However we were still able to enjoy the festivities at Asakusa afterwards into the night. The following days were mostly full of shopping, at Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Akihabara. We also celebrated my wife’s birthday during this time, having Omakase at a Michelin star restaurant.
