Miyajima
Following our Kansai days, the next leg of our journey was Miyajima where we stayed for a couple nights at a ryokan, with our own private onsen. Our time on the soothing island was a much needed respite following the non-stop hiking and walking, especially for my wife who had just injured her foot.

This is my favorite shot from the trip. The deers of Miyajima were a lot more laid back than the ones we encountered in Nara Park.
