Sapporo

The capital of the Hokkaido Prefecture and our landing point from the Hiroshima flight. While being one of Japan’s major cities, it was a smaller and calmer city than the more international ones like Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. My wife and I enjoyed the slower pace of the city here, strolling through Odori Park and the Tanukikoji Shopping Street with its floating Tanukis.
